Kwak Dong-yeon (곽동연; born 19 March 1997), is a South Korean actor and a singer-trainee. He is best known for his supporting role in 2012 most popular family drama ''My Husband Got a Family'' which honored him as the Best Young Actor at the Korea Drama Awards. He is also known for his role as young Shin Jungtae in Inspiring Generation and his leading role in several special dramas, such as ''Adolescence Medley'' and ''Middle School Girl A''. He is also a member of a band, Kokoma, where he plays lead guitar. He is professionally represented by FNC Entertainment. == Early life == Kwak Dong-yeon was born on 19 March 1997 in South Korea. He lived in Daejeon with his father, mother, and an older sister. Then, at the age of 13 he moved to Seoul by himself to pursue his dream to be an artist. Since 2010, Kwak has been studying music at FNC Academy, together with actor Song Se-hyun and members of N.Flying and AOA. While he initially studied the guitar and bass guitar, he later began taking lessons in acting.
